Well its been a great couple of days for me, have managed lots of creativity, and yes I have posted for the third time in one day. Here is a little book that i have just finished, yes i am still in love with my bind-it-all from a few scraps of patterned papers and some cardstock, i have created a cute little new bubba brag book for the latest baby in our street. with a matching card made from the remaining scraps - love it when i use up lots of them.
Have been inspired by the ali edward's kit of the month style here with mini pages and half circles.
This is also a share of a page i have completed for online competition that Michelle W has talked me into entering, {thanks Michelle} I enjoyed the page, and found it challenging working to a theme.
Week 1 ‘Haute Couture’ – Melbourne time
My inspiration came from this quote which I found on a web search “rich colour palette, reminiscent of silk scarves, museum treasures”. This then led me to high fashion, which for me is holidays in Melbourne, where I tend to dress up more and enjoy the amazing architecture.I have used a rich colour palette, some silk pleating, and to me my architecture treasures of Melbourne the amazing mix of new and old.
Materials:- Bazzill cs; BG chip alphas; HS chip strips & Acetate Clock; WER – metals rubons; Bella jewel brad; KaiserCRAFT pearls; FPD Bella brush acrylic stamps & chipboard (clock hands); Unknown – metal photo corners, embroidery thread (hand stitched swirls), gold sewing thread (sewing machine stitched frames on smaller pics) and Braid
thanks for looking.
