Well, it's been a slow week on the main blanket, with two other ripples on the go, and my sewing commitments this week, I am only at my 39th band of colour which isn't too band according to my plan of action I should be starting my 31st band tomorrow, so I am ahead of plan.... PLUS, with the added two items, I really have been crocheting up a storm.
So a recap of this week, would have seen me doing some rippling on 3 projects....but it seems two of them are ready for shopping trips early this week....Got to love buying more supplies for my addictions.
With shopping for supplies, you have to love a sale, and of course last Tuesday Spotlight had 30% off, and with the tempting links on Melissa's blog, I've been inspired to try a rainbow ripple too. So I just had to fill my trolley with rainbow goodness.

Thus began the rainbow ripple, being a super soft Cotton/Acrylic blend and I would say almost a 6 ply yarn. I have been working it with my 4mm Hook and I am loving it so far, this will also be a small scarf 15 bands of colour so far. I have also just spied back in my 3rd band of colour that I have actually only done one row...I am so annoyed with myself but am not undoing it, that's the Amish bit - most projects have an Amish bit. With 18 balls of Yarn I am sure there will be more than a scarf or two being done in this colour range.
This is another of my market items which will be for sale on the 5th April at the Wilton twilight market. Measuring 51 inches, so far it's in need of more yarn to be completed. If your wondering about the quantities of yarn you would use. This one so far has 5 x 50g balls of an 8 ply Tencel/Acrylic blend, it is 48 bands of colour long so far, and I am loving it. But as you can see I have come to a standstill on this one, too, not enough yarn for another row...Lincraft here I come this week.
I am loving that the yarns on these two are so different, but worked with the same hook and both as soft as each other.
Yesterday, was the last rippling for the week, and I rippled all the way on our 1 1/2 car trip, and managed to do 3 bands of colour. I did try to fit in a row or two at my sister's but this cute little bundle had a say in it, He thought the ripple was perfect for napping on.
