Turning 60 - Cath Kidston Style

A good friend recently turned 60, and has often commented on our family tradition of the number of gifts to match the age you turn. Which we stopped at 18. But as a family we decided we would  treat her to 60 gifts. Which we did. The below is 18 that I made of the 60, some Eco friendly face wipes in a sweet basket. We then filled a picnic basket with lots of other goodies, to go with her Cath Kidston themed garden party.

The cake was a big surprise, and fitted the theme well. Oh and amazingly delicious.

We always play games at Errolyne's parties, shall we say there was no exception at this one, as the sun set and the drinks flowed, out came the lights from the pretty party decorations that were hanging around and it was soon found that they could stick to heads. Made for fun laughter and lighting on the game of pictionary.  

Such a fun way to celebrate turning 60!
