Well, with supplies inside neatly boxed on the family room table, it seems to be helping me with the mojo.
I have often browsed the Inspired Blueprints site, but managed to join the community and get inspired to complete this months #55 Card Sketch, helps that its a belated Fathers Day card needed. LOL not that I didn't shop for you Dad in time, but being to sick to visit meant it's not wrapped yet...it will be by tomorrow. (wink)
So here it is....
with the help of a phone camera as the batteries in my big one died just as I was snapping this creation.
So new toys that I played with....finally using my big shot even if I don't have the silicone or the rubber...just can't bear not too play with it...wondering now if I really need them...anyone know????
They won't be here till the end of the month anyway.
So I have used the Tim Holtz Gridlock Texture on Kraft and then inked with Distress ink in the vintage photo.
I have also used the Tim Holtz aleteration on the EDGE Brackets {thinking this will be a wonderful new toy} love my brackets. and edges.
Then it was on to some 2Crafty chipboard, inked up with some Distress ink in spiced marmalade then painted in the distess crackle paint clear rock candy....trying for the rusted cogs look...happy with it :)
Being a stitcher, I am so against using my sewing machine on my layouts and cards, but love the look, so achieve it by hand punching the holes and stitching by hand....with this one, i have then sanded the whole card before 3d bits went on, and like the worn look it has achieved...hope DAD enjoys it!!!
Well, that's 2 Blog challenges in 2 days, wonder what today will bring....inspiration searching!!!
thanks for looking.!!
PMSL...you are as impatient as me! I had to have a play myself, & was wondering the same thing?
