Still on the creative roll & a Handmade Paper Tutorial of a kind.

Well it's not technically 4 for 4 as I took a day playing really.... :)

So over the past 2 weeks, of being sick I have watched numerous tutorials, and bits of that one and bits of this one have stuck in my head...so today, with the sun shining and the September 123 Challenge in my head I got to creating...HANDMADE FLOWERS

I started with my Mont Marte Sketch book, and decided to dye and make the perfect coloured paper from which to make my blooms...
I started with some of Tim Holtz Distress ink Techniques I swiped my ink on my silicone baking sheet (guess i am buying a new one for cooking before i next bake)
Then used my mini misters {yes these little ranger beauties make using the Distress Inks just magic.} spritz of water, lay on paper....mmm nice look

ok next one that I liked the look of that just is amazing...
scrunch the paper, unscrunch swipe direct from pad to paper, then spritz the lot with water and then iron it....mmmm

OK then i thought maybe a little spritz of some glimmer mist too, yup iron again, oh yummmmm loving it...

tips, use an old towel to iron on, and a craft iron is good so you don't grunge up the one that you iron the school shirts with too :(

so you just have to imagine the pretty papers I got.....from the blooms below....

First up is the one on the left is a coconut bloom....from this tutorial
and it seems that all the others i watched, just merged into that perfect little rolling techinique...I loved it, and it made the petals all curl so nice....so I had a go at the time holtz style grunge flower, using the same petal curl action first and a very small 5 petal flower punch, and then I tried a scrunch flower using 7 laers of my small scallop....like the ones I have made with the tissue just with my hand dyed paper....and I think they are my favourites...although I love them all.

I also tried with a paper bag the tiny ones --- mmm kraft love happening there.

but seriously if you have tim holtz distress inks, and you have never tried the above give it ago....its to die for.

So supplies I have used...Bazzill Kraft Cardstock, Echo Park Sweet Summertime COOL TREATS, Doiley, Monte Marte Sketch Paper, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - PEELED PAINT & SPICED MARMALADE, Kassazz Patterned Paper (green/black/Blue/white Dot) Tim Holtz Alterations Textures Embossing Folder Notebook, Prima Say it with Pearls, Buttons, Thread, 2Crafty Multi Packs Floral Spray, Heidi Swapp Dream Dining Collection Verb Stickers, Tag, Pin, Ribbon, BasicGrey Origins Micro Mini Stickers, American Crafts Thickers,
