Presents, Creative Gifts and more Christmas ideas.

I read this quote over on the Fiskars Blog today, and just had to share...

At Christmas play and make good cheer,For Christmas comes but once a
year~Thomas Tusser

Didn't get to share my Christmas goodies that arrived yesterday, look what Amie sent me....oh I felt spoilt. I so love my sad Angel Stitchery. I couldn't help myself and ripped straight into the wrapped parcel as well. Sorry Amie. Oh and Thanks a bunch for spoiling me.

Another project I want to try and do before Christmas....this cute stitchery from
Gail Pans Blog Hope I get to trace it off and work on it sometime this weekend, but must get all the gifts finished first.

Today has been a very productive one in the studio, making gifts. This is the Name plaque, but due to the name I can only show you a sneak just incase the recipient is reading my blog. I love the soft greens of this one. Just love the periphery range of BasicGrey papers.

Next project up was this KaiserCraft Crate. I have used another older range of Basicgrey papers - Fusion. I love how the orange and purple go together so well. I have painted the entire inside of the box, in a metaillic Purple mixed with a little of a Making Memories purple to create this really funky colour, that has a great shine too. I have also sealed it all with a gloss when complete.Finished with a little bling. and it's matching Birthday Card, are ready to wrap and pop under the tree to hand out to the recipient during the holiday season.

Next on the studio create was this Kaisercraft Photo Block, I have made it just a single work block, with four sides showing different words....It has it's matching card, ready to wrap as well. I went with the BasicGrey Periphery papers again here, with a mix of rubons and Wer Memory Keepers wooden words, and Bella Chipboard. I still can't decide which side of the block I like the best.

With those few completed, It was getting late, but I got started on a few more. This is a little tic-tac-toe game, that I was sent in a mail group. I have printed it on photo paper and then have glued them to Kaisercraft Puzzle Pieces, so that you have to put the board together first, the tic-tac-toe pieces I have punched and used chipboard to give some token style and weight. I have started putting one together, and plan to add strips of paper to show the spaces, and then Kindy-glitz to highlight the icing on the gingerbread house. This is now on tomorrow's list to complete.

I also got a start on a Kaisercraft hanging frame, with photos but I forgot to photograph it before heading inside.

Well that's me for the day done. The Baking didn't get done today, so hopefully I can fit that in tomorrow too.

If anyone would like the tic-tac-toe pattern, please just ask...happy to share.!!!
