school holidays, WEEKENDS, lost dogs and more

well here it is monday afternoon, lets see where i am up too.....

since last tuesday, we have played games, watched lots of movies, to many to even remember, although i can say that the ones that stick in my head are

because i said so..... loved this one... very good movie, go watch it when you can :) if not watch the trailer at least....

friday, was the begining of the 123 cybercrop, well after a day of uploading to the Forever Always Store... with the delivery men knocking my door down, with all the new goodies that arrived... i only managed to chat, was just too exhausted, the kids and brian watched Casino royale which i found a bit too action packed....ended up with a reasonably early night for me.

saturday, bianca and i planned to create all morning, she had gifts for friends to make and i was going to do some challenges for the cybercrops and other blogging challenges... but i woke with a headache, and suddenly remembered that we were going to a farewell drinks afternoon....which i had intended to create a little something for... so needless to say bianca was out in the street taking pics, and then off we went to the studio to create....whilst brian cleaned/polished and waxed the car inside and out with dylan, during this session of cleaning the battery on the car died.... so off he goes to get a new battery with the aid of a neighbour....

here are her gifts she made

and here a collage of the little board book i created.... for the farewell

headed off for drinks, gift was greatly appreciated....car broke down a couple of times on the way, we had no electrics in the car.... talk about having a hard time... so we didn't stay long at the farwell drinks....came home, and brian tried to fix it... as we had plans to take a drive on sunday to bowral, a family day out for the kids in the holidays, after ringing my family to let them know we may not be making it due to car issues... bianca took of for her party with me driving a car that stalled every time i stopped...

here she is dressed for her murder mystery party....oops pics are still in the camera, no time for a share now... oh well a page coming soon....
came home and brian attempted to work out the car issue....
need to vent here... he couldn't fix it, so we called bianca to ask her to see if somebody could drop her home, the hostesses parents, offered if nobody else could.... yes (background here- we are always the ones dropping other home, cause somebodys parents can't do it, its too late, missed the bus you know all the excuses.... well she finally called us at 11 to say, that NOBODY could drop her home, so the hostesses parents were going too.... now i am sorry, i know a couple of the girls that were at that party, have to drive by our front door on their way home, and i just was so mad that they couldn't told bianca that they drive the other way home... i am sorry find that one hard to believe.... anyway....) she had a great time....

woke sunday early, found out the auto shop opened at 9 so off trots brian and got the fuse, that was causing our issue, it took him and the sales attendant and hour to put it in the car, but yes it was fixed, and what a day for a drive... beautiful sunny day, (we forget to lock up aurora in her run, as its such a nice sunny day... we only lock her up if there is a storm due) so we had a great day, driving in the sun, stopping at the antique shops on the way to bowral, managed to pick up a fairly old copy of the taming of the shrew the older sized books, you know about 3 inches by 4.5 inches, she just loves books and when she saw it she went oh mum look, so i said give it here, birthday is only a days away now... so better to shop when you say you like something.... so i have started on it...we browsed all the shops, i also bough a little massage crystal that is wonderfull, so i got a treat too... had a wonderful noodle lunch at this wonderful little place that we love in bowral, did the bowral markets, and have made a mental note to remember that they are the third sunday of the month.

storm rolled in, we paniced and realised that we hadn't locked up our rory girl.... oh just hope the storm is not at home,
headed home, and nope the storm followed us all the way, off course we get home and she is not here... tears, lots of them, kids not wanting to sleep and walking the streets till about 10 oclock before i finally got them into bed, then of course brian and i started, he went for another walk, nothing, i finally got into bed only to have the worst nightmares... and not much sleep, then it all started again this morning, phone calls to the pound, the vets, and more walking, more screaming, whistling and nothing, so i decided we needed to be distracted and called my sister to come visit, then we got into cleaning and sorting boxes of retreat goodies....

then finally a phone call came around 10.30 she had been found, she had been treated to lamb leg for dinner and called angel, by two wonderful children, who looked a little heart broken when they dropped her off, she has spent the day under all our feet indoors, which is unusual, but we are all happy to have our girl home....

the day has been spent with family, cleaning, tidying, painting walls and watching miss potter another great film, i have a roast in the oven, and a pile of ironing to do... so i had better finish up here... thanks for letting me share and rant.....

oh and i almost forgot, the day got better, for when i got on to type up my blog, i check the 100's of emails and what should i find, but a layout acceptance for a future issue of forkeeps.... so a happy girl i am tonight.. just one that is totally exhausted emotionally, physically and metally....

hugs to all
