***long post**** warning....

Just a few photos from my weekend away, the french imported gazebo...amazing ironwork...can't imagine what it cost to import it, this was in the garden, the gardens had lots of little places to just sit and take in the peace and quiet...I love taking photos of flowers, and these are two of my favourites from the weekend, the Daphne smelt just heavenly and we had some in our bouquet on the table during our meals it was wonderful scent in the kitchen....the blossoms...well i couldn't resist the colours of them so soft against the blue sky....
Some of the stitching I did on the weekend, but the majority of our time was spent shopping, from markets, to stores we did them all.....and totally loved it...shopped till we dropped.
And finally that long awaited share of the FA Apron Swap, I handed over Gabs Apron this morning, she loved it, even got tears.....so I know she will appreciate the specialness of this apron. The stitched work, was completed by my MIL when she was training in the ARMY back in the 1940's. I have a few of these pieces and had been waiting for the special time to complete it...and this was perfect...I have put little bows on the top to pretty it up for Gab.

Here are some close ups of the Bluebird of Happiness swap that I was in, the gift has been received and I am happy to report that Marion was happy with it all, including the little stitcheries i included for her to stitch herself, and my first scissor keep which in turn has lead to my Etsy Store.

My Etsy Store....well I have finally done it. - come and visit me here
and you can see more details of the two items left that are listed....
made these earrings for me just because....LOL only purchased the beads for these 12 months ago....sad I know...
