Creative Challenges

Have worked hard today after a late night last night with the cybercrop happening, had challenges spinning in my head. Huge msn convo going at 10 to the dozen, then a real convo happening amongst the 6 of us here in the studio (sitting in said studio doing this post (ahh i love wireless)) Needess to say it was a totally crazy night but i did get started on this which i have worked on this afternoon to completion.

Loved this photo of dylan and his total attitude that day - this fitted in well with the criteria as i had selected lots of chipboard to go with the phot alread.

Layout completed 17th February 2007

Then i got started on my Anniversary Layout/Card in secret for my Anniversary tomorrow. It is to go with a cute gift (will photograph tomorrow).18 years and we follow the traditional/modern gift ideas so its porcelain and we have joked about getting each other a toilet or bathroom fitting - not that we need them but its been a joke - i have managed to get him a plate that will match out good white and gold dinner set and 18 chocolate hearts from darrel lea that i have stuck to the plate rather cutely then popped back into the box - so i am thinking he is not going to be to impressed with a gold rimmed square plate but hopefully the 18 hearts of chocolate will impress. As well as this layout. and whilst i have been down here in the studio posting this blog entry - darling daughter has been on a supplies raid, so i know they are up to something hubby and daughter must be creating something for me. Daughter has let on that she has been working for both sides tonight.

Valentines Challenge

Criteria - scraplift - must be a celebration of love - colours to include red, white and black
I have used this challenge to create a layout/card for my husband for our wedding anniversary tomorrow. I really loved working on this layout. I scraplifted Kylenes Poolside layout and rotated it to the right to accomodate my landscape photo.
